APICS Student Chapter at UT Arlington

Our purpose is to facilitate learning outside the classroom, to provide valuable networking opportunities with industry professionals, and to provide students with resources that will supplement their growth as Operations Management or Supply Chain Management professionals. 

Attend our Professional Development Meetings (PDMs) that anyone can register to attend.  They are great opportunities for networking, learning from professionals in the field, and visiting companies through group tours.

APICS International Organization

For more than 50 years, APICS - the association for Operations Management, has been the global leader and premier source of the body of knowledge in operations management, including production, inventory, supply chain, materials management, purchasing, and logistics.  Registration for APICS International Organization is free for full-time students.  You can send a screen shot of your class schedule from MyMav when registering through the APICS site.  

APICS Certifications

APICS certifications are widely recognized throughout the industry and help students to distinguish themselves as they enter the job market and during their professional careers.

Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) Program: Provides you with the ability to understand and evaluate production and inventory activities within a company's global operations.

Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Certification Program: Helps you demonstrate your knowledge and organizational skills for developing more streamlined operations.

Greater Fort Worth Chapter (Parent Chapter)

Our parent chapter has its own set of PDMs that anyone can register to attend.  PDMs provide knowledge of resource management through educational opportunities, facility tours, and professional association.
